What is drop forging?+
Drop forging is a hot forming process: heated steel is shaped under high pressure in a forming tool – the die – into a precise forged part. The result is components with high strength, a dense grain structure and excellent dimensional accuracy.
Which materials does your drop forge process?+
We forge stainless steels such as 1.4571 and 1.4301, heat-treatable and structural steels, free-cutting steel, brass, aluminum as well as copper-nickel alloys and special alloys – for example for seawater-resistant applications. Your material not listed? We're happy to check your requirements.
Which forged parts do you manufacture?+
Our portfolio includes hydraulic fittings, rod ends and forged parts for the construction industry – manufactured to your specifications, from one-offs to large series.
Do you also handle design and tool making?+
Yes. Our in-house design team develops forge-ready components from your sketch or CAD model, and our own tool shop manufactures all forging and trimming tools directly on-site.
Which surface treatments do you offer?+
We calibrate surfaces to specification and finish them according to your requirements – including sandblasting, pickling, vibratory finishing and electropolishing.
Do you deliver just-in-time?+
Yes. We store your forged parts at our facility and deliver on call exactly when you need them – we handle the logistics for you.
